This week Year 6 had their trip to the Lake District.
We started with our bus trip to the head of the Orrest Trail. After a slow ascent we made it to the view point where we could say across Lake Windermere. On our way up we stopped and had a look at a money tree, and some brilliant carved wooden sculptures.
After our walk we headed to Bowness and had a lovely picnic with our packed lunches accompanied by duck-duck-goose and crazy tig!
We then boarded our ferry. The children were very well behaved and polite to all the general public. We saw all the hills and buildings around us and even passed by a wedding on the shore line!
When we made it to Brockholes we had a walk around the grounds and finished off in the adventure play park.
Other than a light shower in the morning, the weather was brilliant but we were thankful to be back on the cool coach on the way home!
Thank you to Scot4All for their amazing generosity towards this trip!
