We have been reading Aesop’s fables in Year 3 and writing our own version of The Hare and the Tortoise. We chose our own animals and settings and tried to use interesting verbs, adjectives and adverbs. We also learnt to show speech in stories. Today we went to read our work to the Year 1s and it was great to tell our own stories. We are really proud of them and the Year 1s seemed to enjoy them!
