Year 1 enjoyed Pedal and Scoot today. Thank you to all our parent helpers.

Well done to our netball team, who took part in the Lancaster schools' netball tournament at Moorside School on Monday afternoon. They played really well as a team, winning four of their matches and drawing two. They narrowly took the win and came back with the trophy. Well done to you…

We have had lots of fun learning to play crown green bowls with Coach Dan. At the start of the afternoon we struggled to roll the bowls onto the target but by the end we had improved so much. We played lots of mini tournaments that focused on our technique and distance.

Coach Lauren came to school to do some cricket coaching today. We had a lovely time in the sunshine and she was amazed at how hard we could hit the ball!

Today we were lucky enough to have a taster cricket session. We practiced our batting skills as well as our fielding skills. 
 

What a great afternoon we have had at the Y3/4 netball tournament. All the children played amazingly well and they showed true determination and perseverance, especially in the hot weather! They represented Scotforth superbly, we are really proud of them all.
