Jambo! Today we had a wonderful visitor - Peter - who is a wildlife photographer. He lives in Kenya and told us all about some of the animals that he has encountered there. He has zebras outside his house who eat his grass every day so he doesn’t need a lawnmower! He told us about the mountain gorillas that he has visited in Rwanda. We learnt loads about their family groups and how they behave. He also told us all about the active volcano, Nyiragongo, which he had visited and photographed. At the end we got to try on some of the jewellery and artefacts that he had brought from Kenya. It was a brilliant session and we even learnt some greetings in Swahili.
