Class of 2017

Our year 5 buddies came to help us to do some weaving to make Easter crosses.

This week we have enjoyed celebrating Easter! We went to the Easter bonnet parade to show the rest of the school our bonnets. We showed everyone our decorated eggs and then had an egg rolling competition. We have such kind children so they shared their eggs to make sure everyone had one to roll…

We went on a local area walk to Booths and did some shopping! We were all very sensible walking there :)

Our parents came to join us for a busy and fun afternoon of Maths based activities. We carried out a number hunt outside and completed lots of challenges in continuous provision. Thanks again for coming :) look out for the next 'Stay and Play' in the summer term.

This week we got to have a go at scooter hockey with Coach Sam and Natasha. We worked hard on our co-ordination and balance skills.

Alfie's Dad came in to teach us about what we need to do to stay healthy. We also learnt all about his job as a paramedic. Thank you very much, we all had lots of fun!!

Reception loved dressing up for World Book Day; there were some fantastic costumes! We took part in 'Ring-a-read' and decorated book spines with the title of our favourite stories. Can you guess what we are all dressed up as?

This half term we will be doing gymnastics in PE. We will work on balances, jumps and rolls in order to make our own sequences. Here we are trying different balances.

In RE we have been learning about stories Jesus heard. We thought about stories we've heard and where we've heard them. We talked about how we can hear stories in lots of places so we went to the park to listen to a story. After the story we got to play on the park :)
